About the Show

Anna Karenena brings me back to Village Theatre Originals for the fourth time. Previously I worked on "At The Back of the North Wind", "Mata Hari" and "The Fabulist". I am performing in the ensemble.

Peter Kellogg, author of previous Village Original favorites Stunt Girl and Desperate Measures, comes together with composer Dan Levine to bring you this passionate musical based on the Tolstoy novel.

Synopsis

In 1870s Russia, Anna Karenina is a woman of impeccable virtue and the wife of a government official who is 15 years her senior. When she meets the handsome and charming Alexis Vronsky, Anna must choose between an ardent love unlike anything she has experienced, and loyalty to her husband and small son. Join us for this moving story of a woman and a choice which could bring her the fiercest joy or the greatest sorrow.
