New Video – I Didn’t Want to Leave You – by Scott Lawrence directed by Doug
I shot and edited this haunting music video to Scott Lawrence’s song “I Didn’t Want to Leave You”. The video was shot on an iPhone 4S in Vancouver BC and includes various still life moments mixed with time-lapse photography creating a moody atmosphere. I edited it using Final Cut Pro X. The pacing matches the beautiful melancholy score perfectly. I’m very pleased with how it turned out.
You can listen to more of Scott Lawrence’s music at his musician’s blog – onetwocreate.com or on soundcloud.

I make a cameo appearance in the film alongside Hopkins (but you won’t see me in the trailer). Read more >>

Doug Cast in Commercial for Montana State Fund
I recently got the news that I will be flying to Spokane to shoot a commercial for the Montana State Fund. Can’t provide much more information than that at this time, other than the commercial will air on TV and the web in the Montana market only. This is a welcome return to acting after a several month dry spell.

Doug featured in voiceover version of upcoming film “SCAPEGOAT”
Doug recently spent 3 days in the sound studio at the Seattle Art Institute recording a voice over version of a new film by Chris Julian entitled “Scapegoat”. The film retells the story of Jesus and Judas in a totally unique way. Doug played the “Jesus” character (named Joshua in the film). Chris Julian is creating an audio version of the movie to help generate backing and revenue for the full feature film. The audio version won’t be released publicly. But you can check out progress on the film at the Scapegoat Website.
